AT&T donates $25,000 to El Pasoans Fighting Hunger food bank

News

A local food bank now has some extra resources to help serve El Pasoans in need.

AT&T donated $25,000 to El Pasoans Fighting Hunger on Monday to raise awareness for the high number of food-insecure people in our community.

“[El Paso has] 91,000 people who are food-insecure and need that food desperately to make sure that they…get the nutrition that they need in order to lead productive lives,” the food bank’s CEO Susan Goodell tells KTSM.

Officials expect the money to provide 175,000 meals.
