New research suggests that digital assistants like Amazon’s Alexa and Google Home may soon be able to predict our love lives.

According to a new study by Imperial College Business School, in-home listening devices will be able to judge if a relationship is happy and healthy, or on the rocks.

Researchers said the devices will act as therapeutic resources within a relationship.

For example, the devices will listen to conversations and arguments and will give advice or suggest ways to resolve the issues.

By 2021, digital assistants, using artificial intelligence, will be able to predict with 75-percent accuracy whether a relationship or marriage is going to be successful.
