UPDATE: As of 11 p.m. Saturday, 249 customers remained without power, according to an El Paso Electric spokesperson. Originally, about 6,000 customers across El Paso had their power go off during Saturday’s storm.

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — About 6,000 customers in El Paso are without power Saturday night, Sept. 30, El Paso Electric reported.

The outages are weather-related and crews are out and trying to determine how long it will take to resume service to those who are impacted, said an El Paso Electric spokesperson via text.
