EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 46-year-old man who has been identified to be Guillermo Lujan, barricaded himself in a home Tuesday Feb. 14 in what police initially called a domestic disturbance in Northeast El Paso.
The incident took place on the 8800 block of Galena Dr. The initial call came in shortly after 6:30 p.m. Police say Lujan pointed a handgun directly at officers. Lujan refused to cooperate with law enforcement and barricaded himself in the residence.
After several hours of negotiations Lujan was taken into custody at around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday Warrants were issued by Judge Myers for two counts of Aggravated Assault on a Public Servant with a total bond of $60,000.
