UPDATE: Both directions of Transmountain reopened about 2 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A collision on Transmountain Road has closed down vehicle traffic in both directions, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
One person was transported with critical injuries, fire dispatch officials said. It is unclear how many vehicles were involved.
TxDOT says the road will be closed until further notice.
