UTEP Spring commencement postponed until fall

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – UTEP graduations scheduled for this spring will now be postponed until the fall, university officials said Tuesday.

According to a release, graduating students will receive their degrees as scheduled, however, graduation ceremonies will not take place until the fall.

UTEP officials said the decision follows the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations for large gatherings.

New graduation ceremony dates will be announced once a decision is made.
