UFO’s? Nope. Turns out the lights over West El Paso were from a Fort Bliss training.

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – A few artillery flares had some West El Paso resident staring at the sky in bewilderment last week.

Fort Bliss officials confirmed on Tuesday at the mysterious lights seen over West El Paso on Friday night were part of a training exercise.

A unit was training in the Dona Ana training ranges with artillery flares, a spokesman said in an email on Tuesday.
