A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that can lead to the arrest of whoever was responsible for an apartment shooting this past weekend.

The shots fired call was reported just before midnight on Oct. 5 at the Verge Apartments, 320 E. Union Ave., according to a Las Cruces police news release.

Las Cruces Police Department officers found that one of the buildings had been hit struck multiple times by gunfire. However, no one was injured.

The release said that investigators believe the shooter was on foot and ran from the scene to a neighboring mobile home park.

Anyone with information is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or to leave a tip through the Las Cruces Crime Stoppers app, “P3 TIPS.”
