The annual event is in its third year. Here is what you need to know if you are planning on going.
The event is from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1.
The tree lighting is expected at 7 p.m., but there will be giveaways, family activities, drinks, food trucks, signing and photo opportunities starting at 6 p.m.
The event is free to the public, but food and drinks are for sale, so bring money.
A free shuttle will be available, with routes starting from the parking lots of Las Cruces City Hall, 700 N. Main St.; Thomas Branigan Library, 200 E. Pichado Ave.; and the Third Judicial District Court, 201 W. Pichado Ave. and ending at bus stops on Water and Church streets.
The shuttle will run until 8:15 p.m.
Canned foods will be collected to benefit a local food pantry. Families can get a picture with the Grinch while they donate.
