Crime Stoppers Seek Help Identifying Family Dollar Burglary Suspect

A $1,000 Las Cruces Crime Stoppers reward is being offered for information on the person suspected of breaking into a Family Dollar store last month.

LCPD was dispatched to the Family Dollar store located at 1450 N. Solano Drive just after midnight on Friday, May 18. When they arrived, officers located a window that had been smashed near the entrance of the store.

Video surveillance cameras caught the man suspected of smashing the window and entering the store. He appeared to be wearing dark clothing with a gray hoodie and a black baseball cab. He was also wearing a black backpack.

Anyone with information that can help identify the suspect is asked to call Las Cruces Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477. Tips can also be provided through the Las Cruces Crime Stoppers app. “P3 TIPS.” The app is available through the App Store on most devices.

Those who provide tips through Crime Stoppers do not have to provide their own name and can remain completely anonymous.
