EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The Juarez Police Department is investigating the kidnapping of a fellow officer.

Investigators say traffic agent Jaime Sanchez was kidnapped early this morning by several suspects while working at an intersection in Northeast Juarez.

Fellow agents have sent a formal complaint to the mayor of Juarez because they say they are being sent to work without a gun and with no patrol units.
