Health Department reports 35 new COVID-related deaths in El Paso county

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso Department of Health reported 35 new virus-related deaths on Wednesday, the total number of COVID-19 fatalities is now at 1,358.

Deaths under investigation are at 579.

Health officials also reported 291 new cases; active cases in the community now at 35,265.

Number of patients recovering from the virus are now at 58,844. That is a recovery rate of about 61 percent.
