World Travelers, YouTube stars visit El Paso

El Paso News

Imagine going home to only 90 square feet for everything; your bedroom, kitchen, living space and transportation.

That’s the life one couple visiting the Borderland chooses to live every day. But for the Russo’s, they say they wouldn’t have it any other way.

Kait and Joe Russo have been living out of their van for almost an entire year now. The couple, who is originally from the Los Angeles area, say that the freedom the lifestyle provides is better than anything they could have hoped for back home.

“We were stuck in our 9 to 5 driving two and from work and this was just the lifestyle that could break us free from that,” Joe Russo said.

This week, they’ve been calling El Paso home.

“The people are incredible. Really great culture so much to do. I wish we had more time in El Paso,” Kait told us.

The couple documents their journey through social media, capturing all the unique sights they catch across the country.

Although it’s not an easy experience, it’s one that could last a lifetime.

“The goal at the end of the day is to just live in the moment and be happy together and travel,” Kait said.

The Russo’s will be leaving El Paso on Saturday after spending the entire week here. Now, they’ll be heading to Central Texas. You can follow their journey on YouTube by clicking HERE
