Wind Advisory is in effect for much of West and Downtown El Paso until 6pm Monday.
A very strong cold front moved overnight, bringing with it the windy conditions and dragging in the cold, Canadian air.
Basically, winter is on the way.
You can also expect isolated showers for many cities across the Borderland area, and possible snow up in the mountains for Cloudcroft and Ruidoso.
Highs will be about 20 to 25 degrees colder than Sunday and this chilly weather will continue through mid week along with some showers.
By Thursday and Friday expect stronger southwest winds, which will help temperatures warm up into the 60’s. .
