U.S. Rep. Will Hurd, Sen. John Cornyn visit El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank

U.S. Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) and U.S. Rep. Will Hurd (TX-23) visited the El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank on Monday, kicking off the First Annual Holiday Harvest Food Drive.

The goal of the drive is to collect 75,000 pounds of food in the 75 days leading up to Thanksgiving. The food collected will help feed the El Paso community through the holidays.

Cornyn and Hurd took a tour of the food bank and sorted out donations with the help of military spouses from Fort Bliss and students from Clarke Middle School.
