A nearly 10° above average day is in store for areas across the borderland.
Our warming trend continues on for today, meaning our temperatures will be in the mid 70s. This warming trend will continue until Sunday.
Winds coming from the west are still apparent, which are why we are seeing these warm temperatures. High pressure to our west is also contributing to these mild conditions.
Winds for today will be breezy as they come from the west at 5-15 mph and gusts at 20 mph. Peak gusts will come between 1p.m. until 4 p.m.
We will also see clear conditions across the borderland for today.
Our next cold front will come from the east on in Monday into Tuesday which will drop temperatures from the 70s to the lower 60s. This cold air will not stay in our area for long as we will warm back up into the 70s by Wednesday.
Also on Wednesday, we will see humid air that could kick off mountain showers and a 10% chance of showers across the borderland until Friday.
