Sheriff’s Investigators identify suspect in murder of Horizon City teen

El Paso County Sheriff’s Investigators have identified the suspect in the April murder of Jose Guadalupe Reazola, 19, of Horizon City.

Arath Jauregui, 18, was officially named as the suspect in Raezola’s murder on Thursday. EPCSO responded to a desert area near Marvin Land and Century Drive just before 10 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4 where they discovered Reazola’s body. 

They have not said how Reazola died or the circumstances surrounding his death. 

Crime Stoppers of El Paso featured the unsolved case as their April 13 “Crime of the Week” and later identified Jauregui as the suspect in the crime and issued a warrant for his arrest.

He was featured on this week’s “Most Wanted” list from the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office. 

Jauregui is known to spend time in South Central and East El Paso. He is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on his whereabouts are asked to contact EPCSO at (915) 832-4399 or call 911 immediately.
