Police: Suspect in Easter morning hit-and-run comes forward

El Paso Police notified the public that the person suspected of hitting a pedestrian in the 10700 block of Gateway West early Sunday morning has come forward to investigators. 

Police say the suspect came forward after seeing the broadcast of the incident on the news. The investigation is ongoing and the person involved has not yet been identified or charged.

Devon Miller, 27, and another man were reportedly pushing a broken down car when a truck described as a white Chevrolet Avalanche struck Miller, seriously injuring him. The other man was not injured.
