The three then began to run through the parking lot of the apartment complex when Cazares allegedly shot them.

The victims died at the scene.

Cazares was taken to University Medical Center to treat his non-life-threatening injuries. Upon release, he was booked into the El Paso County Jail on a $1 million bond.
