Pedestrian struck by train in Central El Paso

A pedestrian has been hit by a train in a Central El Paso neighborhood.

The El Paso Police Department is responding to the accident in the 3900 block of Nashville, which is near Dyer Street and in the Austin High School neighborhood.

They sent a notification about the accident just after 2 p.m.

Police say the man sustained only minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
