Pedestrian hit by train in Upper Valley, dies from injuries

UPDATE (8:50 a.m.): The pedestrian who was hit by a train Tuesday morning has died from his or her injuries. 

The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office updated the media and confirmed the death, but did not offer more information on the person.

ORIGINAL: El Paso Police are on the scene of an incident involving a train and a pedestrian that happened just before 4:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.

EPPD Westside Patrol is responding to the area near Doniphan and Spur 16 in the Upper Valley.
