EL PASO, TX (KTSM) – On Monday, officials with the El Paso Police Department (EPPD) provided an update on Saturday’s deadly incident between a pedestrian and a train.
According to officials, the incident happened happened near Franklin and El Paso Streets. The notification came in at around 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
EPPD officials add that the pedestrian did see the oncoming train, but remained on the tracks for an unknown reason.
The investigation into the incident continues, however foul play is not suspected.
