One injured, one in custody following Northeast El Paso shooting

One person was seriously injured in a shooting that happened in Northeast El Paso Saturday afternoon.

Dispatchers tell KTSM the incident was first reported at about 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Dyer and Flory.

The victim, a man between the ages of 40 and 50, was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

One man is in custody in connection with the incident, according to police.

Officers at the scene tell KTSM the two men were arguing when one fired a gun and grazed the victim’s head.
