Northeast El Paso crash involving two motorcycles results in serious injuries

At least one person suffered serious injuries in a crash involving two motorcycles in Northeast El Paso overnight.

According to police, the department’s Special Traffic Investigators responded to US-54 North near Hercules at about 4:45 a.m.

The freeway was shut down for several hours early Saturday morning, but has since reopened.

It’s still unclear what caused the crash. Police have not yet given any updates on the conditions of those involved.
