The names of two of three stabbing victims and the suspect who was arrested Saturday night were released by police on Monday.

Police arrested Torian A. Davis, 22, on suspicion of stabbing three people at about 12:25 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 22 in the 4600 block of Loma Del Sur.

Police said a 25-year-old woman died from her injuries. They have not released her name.

The two other victims were identified as Anthony Velasco, 21, and Jared Abes, 23, police said in a news release.

According to police, the woman, Velasco and Davis were drinking alcoholic beverages and doing drugs when Davis allegedly slashed Velasco’s throat and stabbed the 25-year-old woman, police said.

Abes had just arrived and parked when Davis allegedly assaulted him, police said.

The three victims were taken to UMC where the woman died. Abes is in the intensive care unit and Velasco was released after being treated, police said.
