Mesa Inn Motel Murder Suspect Arrested

A Georgia man has been arrested in Mexico City in connection to a West El Paso murder.

Keith Antonio Boynes, 46, of Marietta, GA, was arrested Tuesday by Mexican authorities. Boynes was recently added to the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitive list.

Detectives identified Boynes as a suspect in the murder of  George Lewis, of New Orleans, LA. Lewis’ boyd was found in a motel room at the Mesa Inn in Aug. 2017.Days later, police said Boynes fled to Mexico. 

 

Mexican authorities located Boynes this week and arrested him. He was deported to Houston, Texas  and booked into the Harris County Jail without bond.

Boynes will be extradited to El Paso where he will face the State and Federal charges.
