KTSM speaks with UTEP student now recovered from COVID-19

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — One of the first patients to test positive for COVID-19 in El Paso was UTEP student Miranda Perez.

Perez had just returned from studying abroad when she began feeling symptoms of the novel coronavirus. Now that she’s feeling better, she spoke with KTSM’s Daniel Marin about her symptoms, the testing process, and her emotional well-being during her quarantine.
