A GoFundMe account trying to bring the controversial Baby Trump balloon to El Paso has reached its goal within 14 hours of being posted.

The account was created by a Laura Valdez with the goal to bring the large balloon, portraying President Donald Trump as a baby, to El Paso in time for the commander-in-chief’s visit to the El Paso County Coliseum on Monday.

The goal was for $3,500 and as of Friday morning, it had more than $3,700.

“We need your help bringing Baby Trump to El Paso just in time for Trump’s visit on Monday 2/11,” the GoFundMe post said. “The cost will cover shipping from California to El Paso as well as filing fee. He will be joining our protest outside of Trump’s rally at the El Paso County Coliseum.”

There are multiple protests planned for the visit and the post did not specify which organized protest it will be joining.

An update to the post said any leftover funds will be donated to the Annunciation House.

It is unknown if the balloon will actually be brought to El Paso or where it will be positioned.
