EL Paso saw some storms overnight and dumped quite a bit of rain last night, unfortunately, the airport only registered three hundreds of an inch of rain.
There is another round of storms Friday evening, which means flash flooding will be an issue tonight.
Much of Las Cruces saw rain last night as well, and strong storms are once again in the forecast Friday night.
This weather pattern will continue through Saturday night, which means flooding will be the biggest threat to the borderland area. So make sure to have sand bags handy.
Because we expect have a strong updraft in some of these storms, hail will be associated with some of storms.
Things will begin to calm down the beginning of next week, as dry air enters the region next week.
