Franklin athlete James McClain-Green speaks out following November crash

Franklin High School athlete James McClain-Green is speaking out nearly one month after being seriously injured in a rollover crash in Santa Teresa.

McClain-Green posted a photo of him and his mother in the hospital with the caption, “Minor setback for a major comeback…J-Boogie baccc. Thank u for all the support, much love.”

As KTSM previously reported, the two-vehicle wreck happened just before 10 p.m. at the intersection of Leeds and Edinburgh.

A second Franklin student, Nathalie Diaz, was also seriously injured as a result of the crash. 

Police arrested two drivers, Pablo Payan and James Furman, for DWI.
