FirstLight Federal Credit Union does not renew Sun Bowl Parade sponsorship

El Paso News

FirstLight Federal Credit Union will no longer sponsor the annual Sun Bowl Parade.

The Sun Bowl Association announced that the credit union did not renew its contract in a news release. The agreement previously saw FirstLight supply the funds to put the floats together during the annual Thanksgiving Day parade.

Still, the Sun Bowl Association was grateful for the partnership.

“We cannot thank Mr. Karl Murphy and Mrs. Natalia Flores, as well as the entire staff from FirstLight Federal Credit Union enough,” said Sun Bowl Association Executive Director Bernie Olivas.  “FirstLight has been amazing to work with.  I truly believe they have helped take this parade to another level.”

The Sun Bowl will now search for a new sponsor.
