EPPD investigating accidental death in El Paso’s Lower Valley

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Police were dispatched to an accidental death in the Lower Valley Thursday morning.

El Paso Electric says there is an investigation into what is believed to be an accident involving a contractor who had been electrocuted.

It happened around 11:10 a.m. in the 1000 block of Southside Road, just east of Loop 375, not too far from the Zaragoza Port of Entry.

The El Pasoans Fighting Hunger Food Bank closed their doors at 4 p.m. today after the incident. The organization expressed sympathy for the person who was electrocuted while working on a utility pole.
