EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The El Paso Fire Department Water Rescue Team started their training sessions Wednesday, April 12 in preparation for summer.
According to EP Water, water from Elephant Butte is released into the Rio Grande for irrigation and municipal use in El Paso and surrounding areas, causing waters levels to rise.
In case of any situation to arise in the river, the team has to be prepared.
