El Paso registered 54° as the official high yesterday, which ended up breaking the previous coldest high of 61° set back in 1970.
Today, our coldest high is 49°, also set in 1970, but it doesn’t look like we will beat that.
The strong cold front that moved in Monday, brought windy conditions and very cold temperatures.
Highs will once again run 20 to 30 degrees below normal, which is 79 degrees.
Cloudy skies are expected to continue over the next few days keeping us cooler.
We are tracking another cold front that is expected to reach the Borderland next Saturday. This will keep
temperatures below normal for a few more days.
