El Paso had some great weather over the weekend, with calm winds and warm temperatures. Today, things will begin to change.
Expect a windy afternoon with winds anywhere between 15-25mph throughout the day thanks to a passing upper wave.
Highs this afternoon will also begin to warm up close to record highs. El Paso hit a daily record high of 82° back in 1945, and today we expect to come a few degrees shy from that.
A Canadian cold front arrives Friday morning, causing cooler below normal temperatures that afternoon, with windy conditions Thursday. The next cold front is expected to arrive Sunday night.
