El Paso is in for another warm day, and thankfully we will see a slight cool down just in time for the weekend.
The massive high pressure system will continue to take control over the area through Tuesday of next week, giving the Borderland plenty of sunshine.
The mountain areas will continue each day with a slight chance of a thunderstorms, but the surrounding cities should remain dry.
Temperatures will continue above normal, but by Wednesday and Thursday, the upper high will slip off to the gulf states, which will allow moisture back into the region.
This will increase our thunderstorm chances by mid week next week.
