El Paso is in for one more day of highs above 73°, which is normal for this time of the year, before we begin to cool down.

A Pacific low pressure system and an associated surface cool front are approaching the area from the northwest, and this is what will bring in a chilly Halloween.

Higher clouds will continue to move in, so we will start out warm on Tuesday, but by the evening, the system will move through the area, bringing gusty winds, and a slight risk of showers to the
mountains.

The system will exit the area Wednesday, but leave behind a couple of chilly days.

We will be breezy and cool on Wednesday, so if you are going trick or treating, make sure to carry a jacket with you.

Temperatures will rebound above normal by the weekend with plenty of sunshine.
