El Paso hit 91° at the airport yesterday and today we expect to be around the same.
But we have change coming to the Borderland area.
Westerly winds will bring warm, mostly dry weather across much of the area today and Saturday.
But a taste of fall arrives this weekend.
A deep low pressure system with an associated cold front will move across the Borderland area Sunday and Monday.
This storm system is what is expected to create windy conditions on Sunday along with cooler, below normal temperatures, and a few thunderstorms Sunday through Monday.
Then, we will begin to dry out and heat up Tuesday through Thursday.
So it looks like this taste of fall will be short lived.
