What a hail storm!
El Paso saw widespread hail Wednesday, as a storm system moved over the Borderland area. Some hail was as big as a nickle, while the majority of it was dime size.
East El Paso County got hit the hardest yesterday, with hail spreading across the rest of the city.
Today, we expect to feel the chill in the air from yesterday’s cold front. This chill will stick with us through the end of the workweek.
Temperatures will run about 5 to 10 degrees below normal (72°), with highs in the mid 60s across the region, before seeing a slow warm up by Saturday.
A weak upper wave is expected to bring in windy conditions Saturday afternoon, with dry and calm weather Sunday.
