El Paso hit a high of 52° at the airport Tuesday, putting us nearly 30° below average. Wednesday is expected to be much of the same.

A continued push of cold air from the east will continue to keep the Borderland Region temperatures below normal through the rest of the week.

It will also keep skies generally cloudy and winds will remain somewhat breezy, creating chilly conditions.

Rain chances will continue to remain low across the region, with mountain areas seeing some possible light snow and freezing fog during the overnight hours.

By Sunday, another storm system to our west will bring an increase in rain chances and for the possibility of mountain snow showers.
