The El Paso Police Department and Driving While Intoxicated Task Force (DWITF) arrested and charged a man with DWI 3rd or More after an early Thursday morning traffic stop.

James Boulden, 32, was driving a grey 2014 Dodge Challenger east on I-10 and Lee Trevino when police allegedly spotted him speeding 70 miles per hour in a posted 60 mile per hour zone and swerving from the right to left lanes.

Boulden was stopped and believed to be intoxicated. DWITF officers placed Boulden under arrest for DWI. Further investigation revealed that Boulden had four previous convictions for DWI.

He was charged with DWI 3rd or More and booked into the El Paso County Jail on a Bond of $20,000.00.
