El Paso high school seniors can get FAFSA help at SISD workshop

El Paso News

Now is the time for some high school seniors to start thinking about how they’re going to pay for college.

The Socorro Independent School District is holding a FAFSA night workshop to help high school seniors apply for financial aid.

It’s happening at Socorro High School from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.

Volunteers from El Paso Community College and UTEP will help with the applications.

Students could qualify for more than $150 billion available in federal grants, loans and work study funds for college or career schools.
