Crews respond to structure fire in Socorro

A Socorro home is damaged after it caught fire on Monday afternoon.

According to the Socorro Fire Department, crews responded at about 2:40 p.m. to 111 S. Moon Rd.

No word yet on any injuries reported or what caused the fire. The extent of the damage has not yet been released.

Officials say the Socorro, San Elizario, Horizon, and Tribal fire departments worked together to extinguish the fire.
