Crash on I-10 near Lee Trevino caused by medical emergency, man who died identified

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – El Paso Police identified the man who died following a crash Wednesday on I-10 near Lee Trevino. 

Charles Hurst, 73, was going east on I-10 when lost control due to a medical emergency and crashed into the center median at about 4 p.m. on May 1, according to a news release from the El Paso Police Department.

He did not have any serious injuries from the crash but was transported to an area hospital where he died from natural causes.
