Something to watch out for as early voting begins, are potential voting scams.

The Texas Secretary of State wants you to know about potentially fraudulent voter registration materials.

Secretary Rolando Pablos said his office has received a number of calls from people across the state who have received “pre-filled voter registration applications” from third party organizations.

He said they contain false information and are fraudulent.

The El Paso County Elections Administrator tells us they have not received any reports of this happening locally.

The El Paso County Elections can be contacted at 915-546-2154 and the Texas Secretary of State office is at 512-463-5650.
