Beto O’Rourke-Ted Cruz second debate in Houston postponed

The second scheduled debate between U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke and U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz has been postponed, the hosting University of Houston announced.

The rivals were set to face off again on Sunday, but due to weekend Senate votes, Cruz would not be able to make it.

Among those votes is the Supreme Court nomination for Judge Brett Kavanaugh, which has been the nation’s hot topic discussion for the last few days. It reached its peak after Kavanaugh and Dr. Christine Bleasy Ford, who has accused him of sexual assault when they were in high school, testified on Thursday.
