El Paso landfill and trash collection sites closed

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The city of El Paso is closing trash collection sites due to the strong winds and low visibility.

The Greater El Paso Landfill and five citizen collection stations are being closed to the general public due to the weather. The city closed the sites at 2 p.m. out of safety for customers and employees.

Trash collection sites are expected to reopen and resume normal operation on Wednesday.
