El Paso County jail suspends all visitations


EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said visitations at the county jails have been suspended.

According to the Sheriff’s office, visitation for inmates housed at the downtown jail or at the jail annex on the far east side, are suspended effective immediately.

Officials said the suspension will be in effect until it is lifted by Governor Greg Abbott, or until the disaster declaration expires.
