A recent study named El Paso as the top large city for retail workers. The study, performed by AdvisorSmith.com, analyzed cities based upon retail employee salaries, cost of living, and the availability of jobs for retail workers.

The findings determined that El Paso’s retail wages are 16% above the national average wage for retail workers. El Paso has 13,320 retail jobs, which is 42% more retail jobs per capita than the average U.S. city.

The top small city for retail workers is listed as Hot Springs, Arkansas and the top mid-size city is Sherman-Denison, Texas.
