UPDATE: Migrants seen exiting El Paso sewer tunnel apprehended

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Cell phone footage caught several men believed to be migrants crawling out of a manhole in Downtown El Paso.

The Facebook videoobtained by “Reportes De Puentes”was recorded Monday night at the intersection of Campbell and Paisano, just a block away from the Downtown Police Station.

A Border Patrol spokesman told KTSM 9 News agents were eventually able to apprehend 12 men believed to have crossed into the country illegally. 

“It took a while to respond to because of the large groups (of asylum-seekers) we’re having to face (at the border),” said Thomas Schwieger.
